Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Incident Tabletop ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Incident Tabletop provides a web-based incident response training platform that allows individuals and teams to run tabletop exercises, including scenario-based simulations, multiplayer sessions, and AI-assisted training tools.

3. Accounts and Registration

  • Some features require account registration. You must provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

5. Payment and Subscriptions

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact us within 14 days of a charge if you believe it is incorrect.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you create in the Service. We do not claim ownership of your exercise data, organisation profiles, or scenario content. Where you use browser-based or self-hosted storage, your data does not pass through our systems. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and pre-built scenario content, is owned by Incident Tabletop and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (OpenRouter for AI, Setyl for asset management, SAML identity providers, cloud storage backends). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCIDENT TABLETOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law
